Now Reading

I know it’s sometimes difficult to sort through all of the Christian books out there and then pick one worthy of your time.  It can be a bit overwhelming and easy to get lost in the sea of choices and ultimately end up not choosing anything.  This is part of the reason why I try to regularly provide book reviews (see the category drop-down menu on the right).  As Christians, it’s important that we use discernment when reading and that we simply do not read everything just because it’s on the shelves at Christian bookstores.  An article by Marsha West I referenced awhile back sounds the alarm on the “Christian” books in Christian bookstores. http://voiceoftruthblog.com/be-careful-what-you-buy-in-christian-bookstores

There are also excellent book reviewers (Discerning Reader, Tim Challies, and SVChapel) that read much more than I do and write more thorough reviews, but I wanted to provide just a brief list of what I’m currently reading.  Also, the Recommended Reading link above will take you to my page on books I’ve read and can endorse.  It links directly to Amazon.com and 4% of any purchase in my Bookstore will go directly back into this site (to help defer the costs of domain, hosting, etc.)  Below are a few that I’m currently reading and plan to read.
