As a geologist by education and experience, I highly recommend the video below on the historicity of Genesis, including some detailed discussions from a variety of scientific fields which support a young-earth, creationist perspective. It is a well made and well informed video that should encourage Christians to view Scripture as the authority, not science, and embolden them to teach their children that believers can genuinely embrace and promote solid, informed, scripturally consistent science. Science is only accurate insofar as it does not contradict the Word of God and is instead founded upon it.
Simply put, modern science has repeatedly lied to us concerning the formation of the universe, the origin of man, the variation in species, natural selection, the formation of rock layers, the deposition and erosion of these layers, and most importantly the timing of these events. These lies are spread and promoted in schools around the world, in children’s books, and in seemingly ‘innocent’ children’s programs on PBS and elsewhere, that promote evolution, as well as false time periods and scales, under the guise of cute or funny dinosaur characters. It is not ok, nor is it harmless to allow your children to be indoctrinated by the anti-god, liberal agenda of evolution. Parents, we need to do better. Rather than run from these issues, we need to equip our children to recognize the lies and be equipped to respond scripturally.

Thank you for posting this! The lie of evolution is believed by so many as truth. The so-called evidence for macroevolution is sorely lacking and even Christians are being duped into marrying a God-hating theory with their Christian faith. They’re incompatible. Period. End of story. “Did God really say…?” That question is still being asked to this day. Praise God that He has given us the gift of repentance and I pray that He will give others eyes to see and ears to hear before it’s too late.
