“I have applied all these things to myself and Apollos for your benefit, brothers, that you may learn by us not to go beyond what is written, that none of you may be puffed up in favor of one against another.” 1 Corinthians 4:6
“What then is Apollos? What is Paul? Servants through whom you believed, as the Lord assigned to each.” 1 Corinthians 3:5
It’s been awhile since I’ve written or posted anything on eschatology, however this is a helpful video, first describing briefly some differences between historic premillennialism and “amillennialism”. Then Drs. Beale and Schreiner discuss some of the practical and pastoral implications of eschatology.
I wasn’t able to attend this Google Hangout live, but have listened to the recorded version embedded below and found some things discussed in it extremely helpful. This is the first video in this series from Covenant Baptist Theological Seminary (formerly the Midwest Center for Theological Studies). By the way, I’m pleased with the new name and think it accurately and faithfully represents the instruction and distinctives of the seminary and am thankful for the opportunity to attend there.
