For some time now I have been wanting, thinking, and praying about starting a podcast. There are a number of reasons behind the decision, going back at least 5 years, not the least of which is another outlet that’s a little faster to keep up with and discuss current events. After setting up the podcast, even recording a first episode, I got discouraged with the concept and let it go. Then, after realizing that nearly every 1 on 1 conversation with my son while driving together was essentially a podcast episode, I decided to rethink a podcast launch and include him, The Family Pulpit Podcast.

There’s a brief introductory podcast (Episode 0) and also our first episode in which we discuss Origins and go over several major views on where or how the earth came into being. We’re going to try our best to get on a weekly schedule, but that might take some time as we carve out the best day to record. We’re also trying to read/research on topics so that we at least have a little understanding of what we’re saying.
